Moe-mentous Progress in "Superfish"
Today's Science in Action activity involved pre-interviewing several scientists. My group gained some information regarding sustainability, harmful fishing practices, and, of course, fast marine organisms. Ultimately, we decided to interview Maureen "Moe" Flannery, the Academy's ornithologist, mammologist, and collections manager, on Monday. Questions we prepared will hopefully elicit answers that elucidate dolphins' place in the ocean's ecosystems and ways people can help sustain fish and other marine animal populations.
